Sudeep is an architect, painter, and metal sculptor by profession, and a poet by nature. Originally from Maharashtra State, India, he has been living in Bahrain with his family, wife and cats for 44 years. Running his own design company in the Kingdom, he undertakes residential and commercial interior and landscape design based projects. He is from a family of artists; his father, sculptor and painter Dr. Sudhir Deshpande's contribution to art spans 40 years. A self-taught artist who devoted his entire life to art, Dr. Deshpande's work entered into the Guinness book of Records for the World’s Tallest and heaviest metal sculptures from the year 1989 - 1999.

Sudeep has been actively involved in showcasing his art in India and Bahrain for the past 20 years. His work has been commissioned by organizations, hotels, financial hubs and private collections, and he has had several solo and group exhibitions. He is also involved in organizing Art Exhibitions with various organizations in Bahrain, and represents an Art Group in Bahrain called IAW (In Art World); the objective of the group is to make efforts towards giving, opportunity, recognition and motivation to artists who are committed, passionate and serious towards their art.
